# Bytebase 3.24.1 - Nov 5, 2026

> Cloud SQL IAM Memory Fix and Terraform Provider Upgrade

## 🐞 Bug Fixes

* **PostgreSQL/MySQL** — Fix memory growth on instances connected with Google Cloud SQL IAM authentication.

* **PostgreSQL** — Fix connections left open on the database when tenant mode is enabled in the project.

## 🏗️ Upgrade Notes

* **Terraform:** [Terraform provider 3.24.0](https://registry.terraform.io/providers/bytebase/bytebase/latest) requires Bytebase 3.24.0 or later. It can now manage `allow_last_plan_editor_approval` on projects, `inactive_session_timeout_in_seconds` in the workspace profile, the workspace MCP capability, AI provider settings, and standard review-rule policies. Before you apply: a `settings/APP_IM` write now takes effect and removes any IM integration left out of the configuration. See the [migration guide](https://github.com/bytebase/terraform-provider-bytebase/blob/main/migration/3.24.0.md).

## ⚙️ Install and Upgrade

* [Fresh install](https://docs.bytebase.com/get-started/self-host/deploy-with-docker.md)

* [Upgrade](https://docs.bytebase.com/get-started/self-host/upgrade.md)

*Before upgrading: 1) Back up the [metadata](https://docs.bytebase.com/get-started/self-host/upgrade.md#back-up-and-restore) — in-place downgrade is not supported. 2) Do not run multiple containers on the same data directory. 3) Terraform users: upgrade Bytebase server first, then apply the new Terraform config.*
